How to approve immersive audio

Quickly approve a variety of audio formats with Artist Connection. Upload content in your studio portal and share with users on iOS. Android users can approve using a binaural version. Conveniently converse with your team in the Artist Connection app and studio portal. 

Uploading content

First, upload content into your media library in Artist Connection.

  1. Click Media Library on the left hand side of your studio.
  2. Click the pink plus icon in the upper right corner.
  3. There are a few ways you can upload media into the Media Library.
Select a file
  1. Navigate to the destination directory for your files.
  2. Click the Pink Plus Icon and select File Upload.
  3. Find and select all the files you’d like to upload.
  4. Your files will begin uploading.
Drag and drop a file
  1. Navigate to the destination directory for your files.
  2. Drag/Drop your files.
  3. Uploading should begin once you release files into Library.

Sharing content

Create a project with your content or share directly from the Media Library.

Sharing from the media library
  1. Click on the Media Library in the left hand menu of your studio.
  2. Click on the three dots to the right of the media file you wish to share.
  3. Click Share media from the dropdown menu.
  4. A dialog box will appear where you can add email addresses of the people you wish to share this content with.
  5. Type out in email address then hit enter on your keyboard to add it.
  6. If you want the recipients to be able to download your content for offline listening, check Allow Download.
  7. Once all email addresses have been entered, click Send Link to share your content. The recipient(s) will receive an email with a link to open the Artist Connection app.
Sharing through a project
Create a project
  1. Click Project on the left hand menu of your studio.
  2. Click the Add New Project button.
  3. Enter all of your project details.
  4. Add an image to your project:
    1. To use a file from your local machine, locate the file then drag and drop it on the default image in the portal.
    2. To use an image from your media library, click on the default image to open your  media library. Locate the file you wish to use then drag and drop it to the default image.
  5. You can either continue on and add albums or click Create Project to save your progress.
  6. Scroll down to the album section.
  7. Click Add Albums.
  8. Albums will open on the right side of the screen. Find the album you want to add and drag and drop it into your project. Multiple albums can be added at this time.
  9. Click the Create Project button in the lower right.
Create a project from the media library
  1. Click on the Media Library in the left hand menu of your studio.
  2. Click on the three dots to the right of the media file you wish to publish.
  3. Click Publish media from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter the project’s title.
  5. Click Publish.
  6. You can know view and edit your project by going to Projects on the left hand menu
Sharing your project

Adding users and groups to your project will allow them to listen to your project on the Artist Connection app. Add individuals who need to approve your content.

  1. Click the User and Groups tab.
  2. Click Add Users.
  3. Enter in the emails of all the users you would like to invite. Users must be invited to Artist Connection before adding them to content. Learn how to invite users here.
  4. Once all emails have been added, click Invite.
  5.  Scroll to the bottom and find the Project User Group section. Type in a group name to add them to the project. This makes the project visible for this group in Artist Connection.
  6. Click the group you’d like to add to the project
  7. Click Save Changes.
 

Approving content

Once you’ve uploaded and shared your content, users will receive an email invitation to listen in Artist Connection. They can send comments, which will appear on the project in your studio.
